Super Tuesday forced Republican John McCain to withdraw from the primaries. When John McCain lost the Republican primary on Super Tuesday, March 7th, he saw it was hopeless. Alan Keyes is on the ballot. He participated in the primaries, but only received 1 percent of the vote.
